The North Shore Amateur Radio Club regularly hosts club socials throughout the year. Our main socials include two club barbecues at our repeater site at Purple Woods Conservation Area and our Christmas potluck. We also have smaller socials between members. We welcome all hams, their families, and their friends to join us for fun conversation and lots of fantastic foods.

Our first club barbecue happens on the third Tuesday in June as a way to mark the beginning of our summer break between monthly club meetings. It is for our members to socialize with each other one last time before the business of summer. Our second club barbecue happens on the third Tuesday in September as a way to say “welcome back” from the summer and often features a good-old-fashioned corn roast. In the winter, we host a Christmas Potluck at our regular monthly club meeting location to celebrate the holiday season.

Below are some of the photos of our club socials throughout the years.
