Well, we had so much fun last year with our inaugural involvement in the Ontario Regiment Museum’s Aquino Tank Weekend that we are ramping up to do it again this year!
This year the event is back to its normal time period so we will be active Friday, June 3 through Sunday, June 5, 2022. Our operating hours will be approximately 0900 to 1700 EST daily but we will spot ourselves on the POTA website when we are up and running on those days. We will be using the call sign VE3NSR (North Shore Radio) and will be in the Airmen’s Park section again so will be activating POTA park VE-5535.

Suffice it to say it is a lot of fun with restored military vehicles from around the world on display and being involved in re-enactments including the firing of artillery, tanks, small arms, etc. Of course they are all blanks but the sound is authentic.
We are not sure if we will be issuing QSL cards this year so please check back for information after the event.
