At our recent meeting, on January 16, we held elections for our club executive. Steve VA3TPS, who has served as president for many years, has decided to move north and make his waterfront cottage his permanent residence. It was with a sad heart that we accepted his resignation as Steve has been a great president and his friendly demeanor has gone far with growing the North Shore ARC and improving relations with neighboring clubs. We appreciate your years of service, Steve, but still look forward to having you as a club member, past president, and seeing you out at events when travel and time permit.
Also leaving the executive, due to a new job in Toronto that is consuming a lot of his time with work and commuting, is Alex VE3ZSH. Alex served as our Hamfest co-ordinator, membership chair, and assisted with the website along with Sabrina VA3AXU. Thank you Alex for your support of the North Shore ARC and we look forward to still seeing you out at meetings and events with Sabrina.
