In 2007, members of the North Shore Amateur Radio Club helped with emergency communications for the Run for the Cure in Durham Region. Participants in the run and walk event enjoyed beautiful sunny weather as they ran or walked the five kilometer route to raise money for breast cancer research.
After the run, our member volunteers decided to go out as a group for a lunch at McDonalds.
