At our monthly meeting in October 2016 we were introduced to the exciting global Amateur Radio High Altitude Ballooning scene. It was a very interesting presentation about attaching special radios to high altitude balloons then sending them aloft. It is possible to watch the balloon and radio as it goes around the world if you are lucky and well prepared.
