Well, this is becoming an annual event that many of our members jump at the opportunity to be involved with. After all when you mix radio, tanks, other military vehicles, re-enactments and food what more could you ask for?!
This year the event took place from Friday, June 9 through Sunday, June 11, 2023. Our operated from 0900 to 1700 EST daily and spotted ourselves on the POTA website when we are up and running on those days. Our club call, VE3NSR (North Shore Radio), was used and activated Airmen’s Park aka POTA park VE-5535.

Suffice it to say it is a lot of fun with restored military vehicles from around the world on display and being involved in re-enactments including the firing of artillery, tanks, small arms, etc. Of course they are all blanks but the sound is authentic.
